Default Anyone want XT (or i167/i170/i180) parts?

If anyone has been thinking about buying some of the high priced parts (and willing to pay fair market value for them), we could match people up so we can buy XT's from Sam's and then part them out to SC members. Respond to this thread indicating what you want and what you're willing to pay for it. Remember folks, shipping (and possibly tax) may be added to whatever you offer.

Just so there's no misunderstandings, let's define an XT control shaft assembly includes the handle bar, grips, blinky, control shaft electronics, wiring harness, adjusting collar, shaft, bolt/quick release and bumper/anchoring rings. Let's define the whole XT platform assembly include the aluminum chasis, 2 system controller boards, 2 motors a BSA assembly. Let's define the on-board charger assembly as the aluminum casing (without the bolt/quick release), charger electronics and wiring (assuming it can be seperated from the platform easily). Let's define the wheels as a pair of tires, rims, metal adaptors and nuts. Let's define the gear boxes as coming with the white plastic knobby gear piece. Other miscellaneous decorative parts include the mat, the fenders and the lifting handles. And of course the pair of Li-Ion batteries! (Did I miss anything? XT's don't have kickstands I believe.)

You may of course bid for any part you want. Just understand this is NOT a first come first serve process. We're trying to put together a deal and the fewer folks who end up being involved, the simpler everything will be. So if someone bids for a whole assembly, that person will have priority over a group of people who together only bidding slightly more for all the parts of the same assembly. This may seem unfair, but you have to appreciate that we're not running a store here...this is just a bunch of people trying to put together a deal.

Feel free to raise your bid at any time as needed. Otherwise someone bidding higher for exactly the same thing can replace you in the deal. Feel free to indicate some part of an assembly you're not so interested in to allow bids to be changed so someone else can step in and bid for that part.

Default Li-Ion batteries and platform assembly

I'll bid $1000 for the pair of Li-Ion batteries and another $1200 for the platform assembly. I'm not very interested in the BSA if someone else wants that (though I'm not so sure a BSA can be transplanted into another platform without alot of configuration/adjustment done back at the factory).

ps - I realize I'm asking for alot of parts, but I'll also point out that my bids add up to more than half the cost of the XT at Sams. Also, I fully intend to raise my bids if necessary in the future.

Default bids...we need bids

Jonathan...but how much will you pay for the CSB? (I'm guessing it's less than $400 since itsi's CSB didn't get any bid on Ebay when his auction ended today)
teekay...but how much will you pay for the Li-Ions?

Folks, don't forget to put your bid down. You're not committing to it. We're just trying to figure out if we got enough people willing to pay enough to buy an XT for $4000.

CS, handel bars. Cheaper tro order new now and wait.
Wheels etc. are easy to find. It's the CS that will be the future headache.

Anything in the base is back to the mother-ship anyway.

Default bump

time's running out...I'm amazed no one wants the control shaft and handle bars? Isn't this part compatible with the i167's (with newer connectors), i170's and i180's? Given the amount of concern everyone was expressing about broken handlebars (and being on back order for months), I'd thought this would be the first part that'd be claimed (and fought over with people outbidding each other)!
